Sunset Glow from my room window yesterday evening. While my butt remained glued to the chair facing the computer screen, I turned around and what a sight!

While on facebook, I happened to click on my blog link after a longggg time, decided to change the header, and here I am! It's 3.34am now and am updating my precious blog, after.. 3 months? or 4 I suppose. And I can safely presume that this will be my 'newest' post followed by me being on hiatus again.

Oh! But before I go, just wanna rant about something.

Wednesday! Thanks girls! (and guys) for this surprise. :} They came in with the cake before cca started. Although it was accidentally made known to me beforehand, I still appreciate it :D:D I was stunned for a moment upon seeing the cake. Haha. Because it's pink. I like pink, but only if it's in a small amount or nice shade of pink, not mindblowing pink stuff. no no no. (no, I'm not complaining, I'm just talking about my general preference towards pink stuff)

But this cake was pretty in pink. xD Very milky and chocolaty, nice stuff. hehehe.

New years' eve day out and countdown to 2010 with Spartans! (although not all, but we still had fun!) Watched Sherlock Holmes! Awesome stuff! Must watch! The movie ended around 9.30pm. We decided that it was too late for steamboat, so we went to Heeren's Waraku for dinner. Decided to try, since I haven't tried their food before. I spent a total of 15 for 2 items? The soft shell crab was okay. Idk but I definitely wouldn't go there if I'm super hungry. Doesn't fill my stomach. :\

After that we went to Harbourfront, walked up the long trail up to Mt. Faber. It was very dark. We managed to walk up using our handphone lights, from camera or torch. In the end we saw a lot of people but barely any fireworks. They were either too far or blocked by a tree(see below) -.-

Enjoyed the journey down Mt. Faber with you, latte! :D:D

Well, it's the start of the new year and the year shown in your handphones has finally jumped up 1! 2009 has been a rollercoaster ride for me. Couldn't adjust to the jc subject requirements at first, learning my lesson, picking up after national day, crying in front of a teacher for the first time and not to forget making awesome new friends in an environment that I'd never thought that i would go to and where the faces and personalities that I thought would never appear in a junior college. It totally changed my mindset.

It was a hard year, one that made me gain a whole lot of experience, be it leadership, discipline or simply interacting with people. It's a whole new level. And 2010's gonna be no different. Expectations are higher, sleeping hours are lesser, it's gonna be a helluva ride. :}

Went out with my sis on Christmas Day! Left the house rather late (:P), so we went far east plaza to take a look at the flea market and support her friend who's having a booth there. Then we went ps to eat Lao Beijing! (I was craving for Peking Duck heheeh) Wanted to watch a movie but by the time we reached AMK Hub, most movies were sold out, soooo jubeat away! Tried out the new bishi bashi thing too! Played all the games, not bad ah. :D:D

But it's okay, this is more than enough. :)

AV Chalet from 14 to 16! A decent break from all the chem homework. First thing when we reached white sands around 1.30pm, LUNCH! The boys ate at Superdog, girls at the Manhattan Fish Market! Haven't tried that before, and because we were starrrrving, it's definitely better than having hotdogs for lunch. :} Once the soup came (more like chowder), I felt as if it had already filled 3/4 of my stomach. Plus! The drink which we added to the meal for $1 was freaking huge! (see below for pictures) Debbie and I even said that we could just come here for soup and it's enough. haha.

When the food came, (finally) luckily it looked good enough to fill up that 1/4 space left. (or maybe it's the relatively small portion of rice, but I didn't manage to finish it anyway, ha.) Took a bite of the fried mushroom. Delicious!!! But a few more made me taste more of the mushroom than the 'special' taste on the first bite instead. I gave up the last one to Yuhan. I love the fish though. xD Oh and this is the first time I've eaten until I almost wanna vomit. Not feeling but actually the real 'pre-vomit' action. Shocking. Most filling $10 lunch I've ever had. But have to wait damn long la.

Since the boys finished earlier, they went to check in first. They enjoyed Wii and when we came, they were sent for a mission - food! I think next time no chicken wings (unless we marinate ourselves!) They were kinda wasted. Buttered crabsticks were the best. heheheheh. We got excited with marshmallows, hotdogs and fishballs. Even tried out the big mushroom I bought for bbq testing. It was horrible, even if it's wrapped in delicious hammies. Strong mushroom flavaa. Towards midnight, we settled for Guo Wang You Xi (King's Game lol). A whole lot of interesting missions were set and they were hilarious! :D

We planned to go Escape/Wild Wild Wet on the second day. Unfortunately rides like wet and wild and inverter were not available, and if we went in www, there's limited rides too. We decided that it's not worth it, so it eventually became like a regular spartans' day out for me. LOL. Arcade, pool. Never thought I'd play jubeat during a chalet, nor play pool, but I did. Seems like the days of watching domenic and opti did pay off a bit uh? haha.

Next, night cycling! I think the last time I cycled was in Sec1? Not sure. Our fun night cycling (it is fun, no doubt, cycle together leh!) ended with a twist. Almost all were dead beat. 10 hours cycling, how bout that. We first cycled to Changi Village for dinner, which took us 45 mins. Not bad. Enjoyed that. But I don't know how and why we continued cycling to East Coast Park, through a seemingly never ending park connector. The thought of cycling back the same way could easily make us faint, but we carried on anyway.

We reached ECP around 2 or 3 in the morning. Some were too tired to care about creepy crawlies, others just wanted to go back to the chalet, including me. Cux I couldn't take a good nap. lol, I think we started off again around 5 or 6am. Our butts and John's legs were damn sore. We took a near-to-the-road route instead of the park connector. After a U-turn and a short pit-stop (break) at 7-11, we saw the exact building we left 10 hours ago. Hallelujah! BD

First AV chalet and a fun one indeed! Just don't night cycle the next time kay?

Malaysia Trip! The last time I remembered going to Malaysia is.. sometime during my primary school days? My only impression of Malaysia then was that it was dirty. So this trip would be considered the time that I remember what Malaysia is like. haha. I went Johor, City Square with my father and aunties. The first place we went in was the food court. It feels like I'm in Singapore, really. No difference. lol. As for the shopping, I think it was the 3rd floor, when i walked in, the feeling was like I'm in bugis, first floor, just that it's air-conditioned. To me it's a teenagers heaaaaven la. Maybe for someone who first shopped there ba, because once you walked the entire area including the floor on top, everything's about the same. Okay I'll let the pictures do the talking now. :D

What's with the sad face? Still awaiting Jaebeom's return of course. Initially wanted to boycott 2PM's 01.59PM album cux Jay's not in. But I guess it's fate. LOL. Ok the story goes like this.. I ordered B2ST's album while chancing upon coolktime's website. $19 ma, cheap stuff. + POSTER. POSTER MORE IMPT. LOL. So, on this fateful Sunday(yesterday), after asking around from Novena MRT to Square2 to Novena Square to United Square, finally I ended up at some ulu part of Goldhill Plaza. Only after calling rescue hotline (Wankin) to help me check out the location then it made things easier. Ok I admit it's my fault for not looking at the map clearly, cux I merely looked at their description of 'Your Woul Korean Restaurant (near Novena MRT.)' Near meh, I need to cross two roads and a long stretch of road, pass Goldhill plaza, turn left and try to magically find my way to the restaurant.

They said no more B2ST poster, I was perspiring like hell and once they said that I was like wth? -.- Can't stand that bitch. lol. Then, I spotted 2PM. I nodded furiously for a 2PM album + poster in exchange for a non-poster B2ST album. They also asked if I wanted other posters like BOF, SS501 or FT Island. I shook my head. hahaha. On a side note that restaurant gave me an idea of class gathering. cux got the steamboat thing. But I don't think it's halal. ):

Release of promo results. I got promoted. Not something worth to be very very happy about la, since i have to put in more effort if I want to survive in J2. It's quite heartwrenching to see those who got retained cry. I felt sad too, that we won't be going up together next year. But looking on the bright side of the situation, I believe if they are determined to work hard, it'll be a good u-turn for them, to better prepare themselves for the A's. Not like people like me, pass with Es, GP S and horrible chem U. I have to miraculously change them into As and Bs next year, not counting new load of content.

So fear not my dearest friends, 1 year of hard work in exchange for good A lvl results and the course you want in Uni is actually not that bad. Jiayou to all! :)

And yes, watched 2012. It lasted for 2hrs 45mins. Some scenes really did kept me on the edge of my seat, hoping for the worst to not happen to the people. I must say the CGs were awesome. Can't believe everything was done by CG. & After watching it, it makes me wonder if this day will ever come, and what will i do? I just figured it out, but it may not be true la, since the release date of the movie may be different in other countries. Since 2012 is released on November 12 2009, I thought of it in the direction of its relations to the title of the movie. So.. perhaps they chose this date is because, november=11 + 200[9] = 20 and the date is 12. There you have it, 2012. Just thought of it randomly, haha. It's a great movie, must catch it. :)

OOOOOOOP OOOOOOOVERRRRR!!!!

Yea finally. After days and the weekend of talking to myself in the shower and along the streets, the speech has been delivered to the assessors. I think everyone made a mistake here and there, I myself was so used to practicing on the old script, that when I changed one part of it last night, it just didn't appear in my mind on the spot, so I had to blurt out my old one when I found myself stuck, trying to recall how my new part would start. But I think overall we did well. :) The question I had was manageable too. Good thing there weren't any qns on Chek Jawa -.- Deb delivered her presentation well too. ^^

After the long 3 hours, to be exact 4 of no consumption of food, Yingsi, Deb and I went PizzaHut for lunch. After which we watched Jennifer's Body. Hopefully Yingsi won't get too much nightmares of Megan Fox's bloody mouth scene tonight. x) Brave brave!

Had lunch with Yingsi after school! A long bus ride to Jurong point. We settled for BistroDelifrance and went round looking for cakes/ice cream. After spending much time pacing up and down JP1 and 2, we ate at Andersons'. I saw the two customers before us getting Rum and Raisin, which is recommended by the counter lady. I wasn't sure what it would taste, but ordered it anyway, together with Yingsi's cookies&cream and my vanilla.

The first taste was refreshing, with a tinge of alcohol, okay, maybe a little bit too much for us to stand. To our horror it gets worse with every scoop. We avoided Rum and raisins and attacked at our own flavours ferociously instead. I swear it's a baaaaaad ice cream flavour. We even thought of doing forfeit in an attempt to finish the horrible scoop of monster in our waffle bowl. In the end neither of us wanted to take another scoop of it and decided to leave a note for the counter girls:

Went PS yesterday as Lee Min Ho was to appear at Etude House for promotions. There were thousands of people there, B2,B1 and even ppl looking down along the rails on the 1st floor. Heavy heavy human congestion. It took me quite a while before managing to squeeze in to reach Yuhan and friends. I reached around 3.30. The event was to start at 4pm. But due to the massive amount of ppl, the event was cancelled and those who waited for so long didn't get to see the handsome chap.

The 6 of us then headed to Raffles hotel to wait for his return after his event at St. James Powerhouse. We thought that he would come back earlier. We passed off time with our kpop craze talk and games, until we were all bored. More and more fangirls gathered around the entrance of Raffles hotel. When the information was that he's coming, the fangirls lined up at the sides of the red carpet, waiting anxiously for his arrival ^.^ That moment was when we almost gave up and prepared to leave, as we've waited from 5 to 9pm. A long wait. It doesn't even take that long to wait for the arrival of Wonder Girls last year. But it was worth it as our fatigue died off immediately upon his arrival.

Reporters were there too and once his van came, we were all screaming madly. He was sooooooooooooooooooooo handsome in real life, even better! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D I guess all the noona's hearts melted right away. He was smiling from the moment he left his van. When Lee Min Ho was approaching the doors, so many hands were on his back, it's as if they're glued. As the doors closed ppl shouted his name. Since then it was all fangirl-in-action of the marvellous guy in that short 10 seconds. AWESOME!

Wassup! It's been a long while since I last posted something.

Wanna know my promo results? hahaha. It's not very fantastic, but I've got a cool acronym as a consolation though.

The MacDonald days paid off and I've no regrets obtaining these results. I've tried my very best for the past few months and if it's still a U, it's a U.

First paper I got back on Tuesday morning was H1 Maths. Among the 4 department tests and the Midyears, I've never passed them before. Quoting all single digits for the tests, hur. Sooo, I was hoping for a pass when I received my paper. When I opened it, it showed 32/60. At that moment I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Yes, this is my first pass for the year, but what was going through my mind was also the possibility of my D degrading to a fail grade after adding my horrible midyear and tests results. So it was a mix of feelings there, my facial expression was between a smile and a frown, it's basically this ._.

Next was Chemistry. After all those hard work that I put in the mindmaps, after falling in love with Organic Chemistry, after doing up notes to refresh my memory, my Chemistry grades just refuses to get any better. 29.5/100. Pathetic. It's a confirmed U for Chem.

History! This was the subject that I thought I would score relatively well as I memorised my notes well, regurgitated out the info + some analysis on the spot, I even wrote a 3 page essay for the first time this year! (yes I know there are others who can write 4 to 5. but forgive me 3-page is an achievement for me) In the end I got a frigging 46/100. It's an E, but it's super ridiculous. No one in my class for history got higher than an E, we then realise the papers were marked by the trainee teacher, as the handwriting was distinctly different. We then started debating on how can the teachers let the trainee take over the marking of our promo papers. It's not that they can't do that, but I'm surprised there isn't any indication of cross-checking from the main teachers. Some of us got grades that they shouldn't even get, so all of us got quite fussed up over it.

GP next! 41/100. S. Nothing much to say for GP really. It's language and the skills afterall.

Econs was a surprise. 41/80, a D. The first time I passed Econs was the monopoly essay test, but this is better, I mean, it's an improvement. Never would I expect myself to get a D for Econs. What's more consoling is that my marks are finally in the range of the top few in class.

Oh one more. Chinese promos. But no use la. Chinese A lvls 1 week away. I got a C. Another first, a good warm up before getting all my H1 and H2s.

This year's teachers' day is wasted.
Baked chocolate chip cookies @ Yuhan's house for 4 AV teachers. After which some of the second batch were for Hillgrove teachers. The last time I prepared or bought teachers' day gifts was Sec 1. A piglet bolster for Ms Lim, I remembered. After waiting for the teachers upon the end of teachers' day concert, it was already 1.30pm. Called up ex-hillgrovians to ask if they've gone back. To my horror, most of the teachers have left since 12pm.

Even Qian Yi, who've been faithfully waiting for me(sorry and thanks) had to leave to somewhere else. I don't know this go-home early thing is due to the new principal's rules, and the appreciation day thing. Poly students can go in the morning, but JC students still have school man. Ughhh. Crashed into Swiss Cottage with my cca mates and there were a whole lot of ACJC and PJ people, still busy visiting the teachers! Feel so foreign and disappointed. The second batch which was handled by Ying Si and I the night before are wasted. Eat ourselves. Haha.

4 days late for this post.

PW DAY. This group from S25 proposed to conserve a korean rice drink by ice blending it. Refreshing taste I must say, although the original taste like barley. I kept going back for more and pulling Debbie to join me lol, until they recognised me la. Initially I just wanted to have a taste of it, until I passed by their stall again and saw hangul. OMG. that's when the uncalled frenzy kicked in. Had national rehearsal that day. Sooooo, they agreed to fill my water bottle. WOO. After going up to the hall to help out, I came down once again to take pictures before I forget and regret. PW Day was to end alr, so after taking photos, they happily gave me the remaining ice blended drink. Awesome.

Saturday

Here I am, back in Sentosa after 3 weeks. This time, it's with the av people, seniors and juniors! Even though most people couldn't make it, we had fun nevertheless. I remember the last I reached Sentosa before 12 was in nov/dec when I was in Sec 3, to sun-tan with Rachel. After playing few round of frisbee and captains' ball, jiehan, debbie, yuhan, stacy, irene and me went for a dip. Once I submerged myself in the water, i felt a poking feeling on my upper left arm, didn't know why. They said it was because of the salt water, but I didn't experience that when i went for a dip with Rachel. I believe it was 1-2pm when we hit the water. I wasn't expecting myself to tan a lot, cux I didn't see much diff on my legs nor arms when we went to bathe.

It was until I carried my bag when I came out from the toilet. Damn pain. lol. Haven't experienced sun burn for a while now, so imma half lobster for a few days. woo.

GCE A level mothertongue oral. Conversation topic on whether people will want to donate their organs to those in need when they die. DIE. -.- I talked about diff familes have diff values and thinking towards this and traditional families would be less likely to donate cux they want their loved ones to remain in one piece when buried blabla. Midyears are over and I've got a bad feeling about this. H2 History's no easy subject to score. (Actually none of the H2 subjects are la) History's more worrying though. Went to search up on H2 History and chanced upon sgforum on homework forum, posts of students who have taken their A-levels in 2007 discussing on the questions and requirements that have came out for the exams. As quoted from akinos, it seems that SRJC's requirements for the structure of an essay is:

-1 background/thesis/aim paragraph
-6 body paragraphs
-1 conclusion
-must be 4 pages without leaving lines.

4 pages?! Helluva writing machine I must say! I never ever once written a 4 pages long essay for history nor ss, not to mention during this 6 months of jc life, and I don't think I can ever do it! Or is it the handwriting? I got to admit, my handwriting transforms during exams when coming to writing essays. My fingers get all cringed up and I'm seemingly forced to horrendously cursive write(or I should say messy write) my answers down. It's a far cry from my usual handwriting.

Alright, putting the handwriting issue aside, H2 Hist is definitely nothing like secondary school O' level elective History paper. For O's you can memorise the answers to Stalin, Hitler, Japan and hit the bullseye like pressing ctrl + C and ctrl + V when the questions come out and expect to get at least a B3/B4. But for A level History? It's a totally different story. This taking history as an A level subject thing had already hit me right smack in the face during the first two mass lectures in my orientation weeks.

I had the lecture notes with me, those 2 pieces of paper filled with powerpoint slides were enough to make me giddy as if I've been asked to do 10 spins on a swivelling chair. Those two pieces of paper + written notes from the lecture were the reason I became emotionally unstable during that 3-4 days of mass lectures, with a weekend in between. It made no sense to me as I didn't take pure history as an O' level subject. It's unlike chemistry or econs mass lecture, which could be brushed up and clarified with teachers when we start our academic term, as it was just a brief intro of what to expect for the subject.

Although much encouragement was given over that weekend where I felt lost on my ability to take history, I was seriously on the verge of crying throughout the last day of mass lecture, I just could not help it. It was kinda scary, this was something that I have not experienced before, to actually feel hopeless on a subject which could determine my path in future. Basically History was my main worry since then, despite the work scope for project work calmed my emotions down much that day, as it was slightly relevant to D&T.

Now for a little insight on what a H2 History student experiences, this is a response to a student taking the 2008 A levels asking for any references or guides available for H2 History. Quoting from annoy-you-must:

"I would agree that H2 History is bloody damn difficult, simply because you
don't know how to study for it at all. It is unlike maths and physics...all
you have to do is just practice and practice.

I spent great time and efforts memorising so many facts for my history, only to realise that it's not enough...I must know how to write and use those memorised facts to my advantage in the essay.

And yes, not to mention that there is
simply not much written essays for me to take reference to."

As of now, although I've roughly understood the contents for nationalism, J.O, cold war and korean war, I'm still trying to figure how to work this history stuff and put it on paper. Gotta get my ass movin' with a prayer. *crosses fingers*

2PM, with G.O.D's 'Friday Night'. Indeed a refreshing performance, fun song too! Definitely a bonus to Boys Generation; a joint performance by 2PM, 2AM, Super Junior and SHINee of 'Gee'. It was nice to see SNSD's comeback performance 'Tell Me Your Wish' and a bit of 'Gee'. In addition, 2NE1's 'Umbrella' was smoking hot like 'Fire'!

Watched Ghosts of Girlfriends Past with daze, ss, stella, lychee, htp, haigui, mantou, wankin, nightz, phatom, lpxx and opti yesterday. Yea 13 of us, normally not so many on a movie outing. haha. I finally got to upload this picture when i chose the medium size option instead of the large. Has the large option malfunctioned? o: Anyway, a nice movie. Conner, a nice boy by nature turned playboy after a moment of ''rejection'' by his true love, jenny (jennifer garner), who've known him since young, and has a happy ending with her after realising who he really is and loves with the help of his late uncle and the ghosts of girlfriends past, present and future. Go watch it!

Spartans' Sentosa outing on Saturday! Been awhile since we met everybody. We had a ball of a time there! We went to Siloso, which was damn huge. I always go to Palawan, so it's quite a big difference. There was an event on that day, so it was rather fun and entertaining with the loud music and the emceeing by muttons! We bought a beachball and a frisbee, for Spartans' future use!

After playing for awhile, Giennieve, daze, ss and me got really thirsty and decided to go 7-11 to buy drinks. Upon reaching the 7-11 at the main entrance, it was damn small and squeezy, plus all the big bottled drinks were not chilled. We decided to continue walking to palawan's 7-11. Bigger, better, cooler. haha. We took about an hour in total to finally get to our drinks.

Played some captainball after we got back. 5 v 5 then 8 v 8. Damn fun. Got into the water for a splash before going to wash up. & I swear siloso toilets are a killer. Though palawan and siloso toilets are different, palawan is definitely less crowded than siloso. Wanted to go to palawan to wash up, but ss and i ended up waiting for our turn at siloso for about 1 hour. Thanks Giennieve and daze for waiting! :}

Met the rest at skypark after buying subway up. SS and I felt too comfortable to get up after settling down with our food. Watched the guys played pool then managed to catch the last train from dhoby ghaut home. :D

Day 1!

Leadership Training Camp (LTC) started last Friday, on the 5th. Every 2 groups were to depart every 15mins. Group 10 (Phelps) and Group 9 (Bolts) trekked together. Being the 2nd batch to go, we set off for our 15km walk to Jalan Bahtera at 8.15pm. It was a tiring but fun journey, with Zijie and the boys singing and hyping up our spirits along the way. The map stretched to a length of 7 pages. When we reached the last page, we realised that there was a contradiction between the way we were heading and the path available on the map. Group 7 then caught up, we discussed and decided to go straight, as it was a dead end if we turned left. A right choice as we headed up a rocky path up to the camp entrance. It was definitely an achievement. I never thought I could survive the trek and feeling so accomplished about it. Good thing the bag that my cousin lent me had the waist strap; most of the weight was stressing on my legs instead of my shoulders, sparing my back from the pressure.

We were the first two groups to arrive, of course with group 7 and Armstrong (forgot their group number) who joined us. It was some time after 12 midnight, a 4 hours long trek. After a short bonding session and stretch, we found ourselves resting on our sleeping bags in the hall, waiting for the rest of the groups to arrive. Our camp commandant/president of the Student Council, Adam, woke us up and told us to head to our bunks around 3 am. Group 11 and 12 turned a wrong direction and had to turn back, so they reached campus around 4 to 5am. The bunks were 2-storey longhouse-style and you can hang your towels and stuff on the loose-hanging ropes. The toilets were like those of sentosa's, but cleaner and better.

Day 2!

Assembled at the parade square at 6.30am, did some stretches then a run down and up the rocky slope outside camp. Our first meal was nasi lemak. Programmes for the day were to learn the commands and techniques of belaying for abseiling, challenge ropes and rock climbing. Also to go through general stations, which taught us about our personal space, having commitment and trust in your teammates. It was fun with the belay commands: Am I on belay? (Belay on) Squeeze check! Climbing (climb on) Falling (fall on) It was interesting to see how the belay system actually allows you to support the weight of the climber when he falls, with the help on an anchorman.

After lunch group 9 and 10 were once again together, for kayaking! It was around 1pm that time, super sunny, loooooooved it! I partnered with See Ting, vice-cap for badminton boys. The way he commanded unison with his "left, right, left right" made me ask him if he's done this before. Indeed, he's been kayaking since primary 5. o: As kayaking was new to me, thanks to him I was able to learn the basics quickly. A group of 20 of us kayaked round the kelongs, where we saw dogs barking away at the edges of the kelongs. It felt good while kayaking in that enrivonment. A big open space with the smell of sea water and the luscious greens. Mr Kevin Ang then asked us to raft up, as a couple had to make their way across to another kayak.

& I think I've got the answer to my own question (Teach me the fastest way to get my tan back) Go kayaking at 1pm! Want darker tan, kayak longer! Maybe others can't tell I've become tanner, but of course I can la. Now I've got 3 different skin tones on my leg (or you can say the whole body la): my original skin tone, my previous tan, and now a darker tan from wearing fbt to kayak. woohoo.

After dinner, we then went through fire drills repeatedly, going back to our bunks and assembling in the parade square once heard there's a fire. After 2 hours of sleep the night before, we were allowed to sleep around 10pm+ after the drills, as lights out was at 11pm. For a moment it felt weird, as it has been a long time since I slept before 11pm. hoho.

Day 3!

The day where we put our belaying techniques to use as we get to abseil down the tower and make a full climb up the rock climbing wall! The trolley party was interesting, although I only did the last run. Abseiling! I was a bit hesitant to lean back to go down at first, but it was okay. Mr Michael Kwok told me that Roosevelt once said that ''The only thing we have to fear is fear itself". At that moment I almost threw back my history stuff. :\

After lunch we went for rock climbing! I challenged the yellow portion of the wall, as there was the blue one (flat surface), the yellow(with a little curve in) and the red one(with the challenging curve and small surface to step on, which makes it difficult). I was about to fall on halfway, cux i was damn tired, after failing to get on to the next step. But I leaned close to the wall and rested for awhile, and with the encouragement of my group members and the teacher in charge of the station, I finally made it to the top! Yes, it felt awesome. :D

General stations then taught us more about integrity, trust and communication with our group members, applying to our ccas. I would really wanna try the game again, whereby we gather in a circle and rest ourselves on each others' laps. We tried using one leg only, so it was rather streneous on one leg supporting the other person.

Campfire night! (still have to do av stuff) They brought over the portable speaker with mics in it. We had to station there in case anything went wrong. Loved the performances. & man, I always screw up during the actual performance. Orientation couple dance screw up, this time couple dance also screw up LOL. But the practices were definitely much fun. Incredible, as the storyline by group9 and group10 was able to piece together within such a short period of preparation time. Group 9 performed first, with the sound effects by 2 of group10's guys, made way for our girls. After sasheying in, group9 guys supposedly get seduced by us, then couple danced. They would throw us away, our guys would then step in. (for flirting with our girls you see hahaah) the mini fight among the 6 guys was hilarious. We then set in to bboy battle mode! After which we merged and sang the chorus of HSM's we're all in this together, which complimented Bolt and Phelps in the lyrics, ending off with an ''olympians!"

After the campfire, we were told that there were no lights out till 1.30am. It was quite early then, around 10+ i think? after our reflection session with Mr Goh. Returned to our bunks with Chrismin. Wanted to drink the milo for supper, but after showing wondergirls to her with my ipod, i laid beside her, ended up falling asleep. Took all these pictures while waiting for her.

Day 4!

Woke up at 3am+, found myself sleeping in the opposite direction of my sleeping bag, as both Chrismin and I were laying in that position last night. I shifted myself and not too long after I settled down, at 5am, people were shouting "Fire, fire!" I hurriedly woke up the girls, wore our shoes and rushed to the parade square. After which we were told to go back to our bunks, keep our stuff and change into our wet attire.

Locking arms and walking into the sea, we were half-submerged. Mr Ang made us sing the school song and recite the college creed. It was impactful, especially so as the lyrics of the school song was ''here i stand the dawning of a brand new day'' which was exactly what we experienced.

We were stunned when Mr Ang told us we're gonna trek back to school. The time was 12pm. After filling our water bottles, some really did apply sunblock. I rolled up my sleeves, preparing myself for a tanning fiesta. We walked out of the camp, down the slope there were 3 buses, which started their engines as we walked past. But we didn't stop. Mr Cameron Yaw, who was beside me, told us don't be too happy, and said the buses were the ones who drove the secondary school students here, and they parked here because they were given lunch. ): After walking a further distance down, we saw the people infront u-turning back. We all cheered! air-con, wooooo!

As the bus drove on, conversations about the distance we actually covered from school to the campsite could be heard. As most of group 10 ppl had something on, the rest of us went for lunch at lot 1. It was hilarious when we reenacted the lunch/dinner scenes: 10minutes more! grab your utensils! haha. What I'm gonna miss from LTC is the sweet, hot milo! The bunking experience was nice and definitely not forgetting the punishment that we had when we arrived late! (push up position, change! leg raise position!) This camp was indeed a memorable one. :D

GP over woo! Bad feeling about it though, I think I've wrote out of point. Finally finished watching Boys Over Flowers. It was so hot and crazy with the koreans and netizens then, yet I didn't follow. Till the night when I watch the first episode on Channel U, then I started chasing the drama on youtube. It was real cute, perhaps especially so it's in Korean, thus I prefer this than the taiwanese version: Meteor Garden. However, one thing is for sure, Lee Min Ho(Goo Jun Pyo) has an uncanning resemblence with Jerry Yan(Dao Ming Si). Not forgetting Hyun Joong and Goo Hye Sun! ^^

College Day took up most of my Saturday man, After 3 weeks, 6 rehearsals, only felt super tired on the actual day. Plus, it had to be on the actual day for things to go wrong. Watched 2NE1's 6min debut stage and Super Junior's repackage album single 'It's You' performances on Inkigayo. Awesome! Neorago~ Alot of work coming along this week. Especially the preparation of gpp to consult Mr Ng on, which we changed from emergency. It's like my PI, did on emergency then changed to conservation. Had very little sleep because of that. Hopefully it will work out fine, because the gpp's based on my PI. o:

Went out with Stefan yesterday after gpp discussion with the group. Mac near AMK Hub was crowded, so we went to parklane's quiet mac to study. Haha. Dzq, Wankin, Mantou and LPXX came back to find us cux all movie tickets at Cathay were sold out. Went to play L4D, Yuan joined us halfway. It was rather expected that Wankin's group will win, haha. We suck as humans and as infected. But I enjoy being the infected more. woo. Went home with Dzq after buying brownies, sorry Stefan! :P

Thursday was Wei Siong's PE lesson and there were many different activities other classes were engaging in as well, Mr Hiap's class before us played using water bombs. Interesting stuff. Started off round the track with medicine balls. (Didn't run, forgot to bring shorts :x) Then the captain ball segment kicked off with a netball, then we changed to medicine balls and a rugby ball during intervals. Favian became the crazy ninja and we ended the day with a class photo. (Hopefully a larger one next time!)

Went out with Ken yesterday afternoon! (yes, for the first time since knowing each other for quite some time, lol) Damn suay for movie slots man. Wanted to watch Detroit Metal City but I think not going to show anymore soon, v limited timeslots, so changed to 17 again (Zac Efron). Unfortunately only single seats left, sooo we decided on Handsome Suit!

I recognised the main actor of the movie, as he's one of the netizens in the anime Wei Siong introduced me to watch Densha Otoku last weekend. (which made me super hooked on and finished watching it on that day). Enjoyed the movie, kinda liked the little twist at the end. I didn't think the handsome guy that the actor transformed too was so incredibly handsome as exagerrated in the movie, but after awhile, he looks not bad. haha.

Went for dessert at MOF after exploring Cathay. I couldn't resist the temptation of snapping a picture of this. My first time la, cannot blame.

Loved the soft serve. (Though it tastes like Mac's)

Just a random post, so thought of posting this picture up. Been busy with Project Work the past 3 nights. Wait, make it 4, including tonight because I changed topic from Emergency to Conservation. Couldn't have done it without the help of my awesomely wise father of course. Although the generic research and all that made it somewhat relevant to D&T, I'm not that inclined for the 'Generation of Ideas' in PW terms. hahaha. D&T would be so much better. Nevertheless, hoping the super late nights will pay off to get a better grade than my 1st draft. hurr.

I feel accomplished because I completed my first 2.4km for Napfa since Sec1 yesterday. That's a difference of 3 years. I wanted to stop at my 4th round initially, but seeing how encouraging Mr Hiap and my classmates were, I carried on running. Though I passed and came in past the 14 min mark, still, I completed it. In addition, the number of my inclined pull-ups was on par with what I got when I was Sec 1: 23. That was in Sec 1 when Poh Ling and I agreed to do the number the same as our birth date. Yay! :}

AV Camp yesterday! J1s! I don't have the seniors photos though, cam photos with other ppl. All the time spent on rehearsing (ok lah, only 2 days) paid off! I had fun rehearsing and going through the choreography with group B, awesome stuff! (FYI we danced to So Hot, Nobody, Lies and Sunset Glow, that explains why i'm so enthu heh) Through the choreographing then I got to learn to exact moves woo. Got chance I will show you ppl okay? hahaha. :B Group A was not bad either! The volleyballers had their training in the hall too, so it's like additional audience. lol. Flustering during Group A's performance omg. hahaha. Learned alot too la.

The station test was encouraging. It was a good thing we roughly got all the procedures right, with the help of Irene. :) 15 minutes for each station, we were like running here and there cux all but one of the staircases were not accessible. Keep perspiring man. Quite shocked we were able to almost do up the outdoor sound system, that's the one that confuses me most haha.

Lastly, barbieque! There were alooot of food. Movie and bbq concurrently, and that's where being an AV member comes to good use, to be able to use the equipment for the movie. haa. Played some games when night fell. It's like a mini orientation when we went through the orientation games and some new ones together. Initial plan was to end at 8pm, but there were too much food and of course the movies (I caught a short part of the beginning of resident evil: degeneration, nice.) So we ended at 11pm instead. Met up with group members to practice our dance for our performance on the 28th. I flooded Wenlong and Julian with MVs of bigbang and wondergirls before starting to rehearse our dance. Love the input from Irene for the chorus of Sunset Glow. Good thing we changed the timing to 9am, cux after piecing everything, we ended at 4.30pm; barely enough time for me to go home and change for the movie at PS.

Watched Dragonball Evolution with Mr Goh & friend, Sherri, Jing En, Grace, Favian & friend, Xavier & friend. Alot of graphics involved. Nice movie. Piccolo's Spike from Buffy the TV series! Kamehameha!

Up on Mt Seolak, S.Korea '07

Went back to Hillgrove after school today with some of the ex-hillgrovians in pj, Jimmy, Tasya and Xin Yi to collect our O-level certificate. Teacher-scouting after that! Saw Mr Teo, he wondered why I was dressed half Hillgrove, half PJ. lol. We found Mr Kelvin at the store, he then took me and Jimmy to Mr Bala. Mr Chin didn't come though.

Just nice, when Mr Bala was about to leave the staff room then I came to visit. haha. His words made my day, plus a reconfirmation of my doubts on the D&T results. Glad that his students were interested in my popcorn thingy :} Hopefully I'll get to collect my work back though, to remember my 8 months of hard work lol. 4E2 students from pj went back too, Jian Ming, Ching Kiat and gang. Chatted with Ms Chong and Mr Loh behind G.O. Oh and a short convo with Mr Bambang. Shall. strive. to. follow. his. footsteps. History!

Oh and there's a new stall selling Western Food. Didn't try it today though. Annnd. the drinks stall, I graduate then there's more stock of Latte siaaa. Boo.

Been busy week after week. CCA's been confirmed and much has been taught. In AV club. It's like a cycle man. Ultimately, I'm still in AV. From Primary 6, AV Moniter, Sec 1 Badminton, Sec 2 after op, AV, Sec 3 and 4 Library, J1 AV again. lol.

I went home around 3pm today. Felt weird going home so early. Was with Masturah after finding Mrs Tay, then she's going home before her archery starts. I was hesitant to leave, afraid of forgetting any programmes on after school. Lol paranoid sia. :P

Found the 'wheel of fortune' thing at audisea website and I took a moment to digest what I saw. eh HELLO WHY ISN'T YOOBIN ONE TONE DARKER. (like my character, ahem) The original picture is actually in black and white, the gold and silver version was awesomely photoshopped on by a fan.

Peeping into audi, the first song I heard was Nobody. hur hur. They finally have the songs (suay suay in the first week of my academic term >_>) but the moves don't follow the song itself though, not fun. So while I was happily dancing to the song in real life, my character dances some random hiphop move. lolz. Rather on speaker, get some people and dance to it in real right. cfm no miss LOL.

Last day of Orientation week as mentioned, (I know I haven't been blogging lately, hehe) it was F.U.N. During the dialogue session, indeed interesting questions and issues were raised, and I strongly agree with the question on why the orientation programme is weird, where we study, play, then we study again. (of which the first 'study' gave me much stress on whether I'm fit to be in a jc) But the 3-day orientation of fun and games after splitting the cohort into classes did loosen me up on the upcoming workload I'm going to face in my 2 years in pj.

It felt like a reenactment of Sec1 in Hillgrove, where I participated in a dance together with some of 1E1s and other classes, because I participated in a dance for the finale of the orientation, where performers only had a few hours to choreograph and practice our dance. But this time, I did couple dance. 4 couple-performers on stage having lots of fun. lol. New found friends from other classes, awesome. & Not forgetting the other performers of our clan, where they danced to one HSM song. (I forgot which) The most distinct performance among the 6 clans was the one which danced to Low. When it came to the chorus, everyone in the canteen were 'low, low, low''-ing. haha.

Because of the mass fun and cute dances after the performances, plus the list of activities we went through the past 2 days, I haven't felt so sporty in a long time, in fact, for 3 years. hoho. This is the only picture I managed to take with my phone. Thanks Khairiah for the pictures! ♥

Went out with mum and dad in the morning, then parted to go bugis junction with mum to check out schoolbags. Didn't manage to find any, but oh well, no hurry. Jonie came and we went to scout for food in the basement. Sadly, I couldn't spend much time with her as I had an appointment with sis & bf to buy my belated birthday present. It was a good thing she stayed, where her opinions helped in my decision. :D

After having a late lunch with sis, bf and kelvin, we parted ways as I needed to go home to finish up my homework. On the way home, I initially only wanted to drop at Causeway Point to buy another stud to pair up the other one. But when I went up the escalator, I saw popular. Thought of just buying pen refills, then I ended up buying foolscap and files. lol.

School was better after the real orientation, today is the second day. Super tiring! Went round the school playing station games and learned the mass and cute dance. My class is not bad, some outgoing ones, some neutral but good to talk to. There is a variety, but yea, i believe i will get used to it.

AND HOR. I FORGOT TO MENTION. Yesterday there were performances by clans, and there was one clan, danced something which caught my attention. I WANT NOBODY NOBODY BUT CHU! I've had always wanted to know which clan was it. Tillll, after the switch of specific classes, S07 (my class) and S09, I went from LEO to URSA. At first we missed our leo OGLs, but when i got to know that URSA was the clan who did the nobody dance, it was awesome! Didn't thought I would get to know ppl of same interest towards korean entertainment! WONDERGIRLS, BIG BANG! HARU HARU, NOBODY, TELL ME, SO HOT. HAHAHAHA. Candice! One of the clan ogls! She even went for the kpop night too! :D:D:D

Today's activities were really interactive, and I volunteered myself for our clan performance tmr, together with some from my class. Hopefully it will be fun tmr, since it's the last day, and i believe it will be la hor. At least im better loosened up, after all the tense period during mass lecture (although some of my friends didnt feel it lol)

Orientation Day 3

Due to not having done any vigorous sports/exercises for the past 2 or 3 years (those who know me should know why), it had an effect on me this morning. I reached the busstop on time, with Wanqin alr reached. She then came over to ask me if I had brought my thermometer. I O: and said I'll rush home to take. Tried to call my dad but he was sleeping very soundly. So in fear of not arriving in time of the next bus, I ran, walked, ran walked home, then did the same to the busstop. I thought it was alright, the short distance running couldn't have affected me much. But, I was wrong. Upon boarding the bus, I felt very uncomfortable. My head was spinning, my whole body felt wobbly. It turned out to be a blackout as my vision blurred then I couldn't see. I told Wanqin and Peijun about my discomfort. I couldn't hear that clearly too when Wanqin gave a response. I could see and hear again when we reached the busstop to alight, still feeling quite uncomfortable and cold though. This is the second time I had a blackout, the first when I was Sec2.

I don't like blacking out, makes me feel helpless, since you cant see nor hear at that moment. It should be because I ate little food for breakfast, and I spent so much energy on running suddenly. Body cannot take it ba. Father initially said it's prob due to lack of sleep, which was impossible, because I slept from 7pm to 12am, then 2am to 6am the day before. I thought I couldn't survive the activities for the day. But since I didn't felt any major discomfort after that, I went through with the intro lectures and cca exhibition. Going for try outs for archery only. Canoeing, badminton, volleyball, netball, touch rugby are ccas I have interest in joining, but I can't. Vigorous trainings. ):

Orientation Day 1

Went to pj with Pei Jun and Wanqin, saw a handful of Hillgrovians there. Indeed, the first half of the day was super dry. Sit until butt pain, listen to talks from principal, vp, respective subject hods. Luckily they had air-cons in the hall, which kinda surprised me when it gradually got cooler. Heard from my OGL that we are quite privileged cux pj only got air-cons installed last September. So many different colour uniforms. Oh and I saw Beng Loon! Oh oh andddd. The teacher in-charge of my OG(19), has an uncanny resemblence to Ms Tan HM! The moment I saw her I was like, Ms Tan! Big eyes, rebonded hair. hahah.

My OGLs were nice, but it's a pity we didn't get to play 'Husband and Wife' as one of our icebreaker games. Could be a better icebreaker than wacko/um jiji um ji. Wild wild west was alright lol. The songs and cheers part was rather paiseh thing la. First day, J1s all sian, plus it was around 2pm, tired from all the long talks and explanation. Until we did the Pioneer Ichiban cheer. That made the situation a liiiiil better. But I think it's normal la, new faces. Again. PJ's compounds are definitely larger, and I felt like a Sec1. Lost and unfamiliar, despite having people I know there. Registered myself for councillor. Cux the OGLs totally changed how I thought Jc students would be. Because they're super rar rar. lolz. See how also la, cux I also a bit shy shy one. :P We were then dismissed around 3+.

Xin Yi and I then went to visit Mr Yeo and Mr Koh. Chatted about how us and other ppl did for O's, and asked about taking certain H2 subjects. The newly renovated area's nice! Headed home after that. Super tired. Overall it's rather refreshing, after going through the college tour and such.

~~Still unsure of taking Economics as a H2 subject though. Damn. Advice anyone? haha.~~

Having met Stefan and Gavin was the best birthday present I've received this year. Sorry I was late though. ): Met up with Charlene(Sean) for a movie. Since Stefan and Gavin could still spare some time, and I wanted to talk to them longer, we walked to Cathay together. Coincidentally, Sean met his friends on the way, thus I could steal more time with S&G. :} After buying tickets for Inkheart, sent S&G to the taxi stand. How I wished I had more time with them; oh well, blame myself for being late. :(

Inkheart was alright. Mystical, magical, somewhat like Harry Potter but it definitely doesn't pack a punch compared to the latter. Thanks Sean for today! Im putting your guide book(paper) to good use. lol. Happy 17th Birthday to me! :D

Went shopping with sis at FarE plaza again, got nothing in hand until we went over to Chinatown. I was appalled by the prices of $10 almost everywhere I turn. 10 10 10 hahaha. Got myself one more graphic bag again heee. I then watched the Wedding Game with Tobi and Simon around 9.

Although it's a comedy for the whole family to enjoy, and yes it was entertaining, on the whole I felt as though I'm paying to see Fann and Christopher getting intimate, lol.

Went to watch Love Matters with sis and friend. It was alright too. Though I recommend love matters than the wedding game, watch both la. haha.

Went evo to meet up with Tobi. Visited Ck at work too. Then I noticed this shooting game and asked Ck what was that. 'Ooohh so that's Left 4 Dead!' Just nice when I told Tobi I wanted to learn how to play he said can, since Tidux and another friend of his, Wie Li (if i'm not wrong) is coming down to find him. First round, I kept needed ppl to revive me lol. Almost wanted to give up, but got the hang of it when I learned how to save ppl hahaha. I still died though for 2 rounds. -In memory of: xRhapsody- LOL second round cux help came alr, then wie li was down, I'm alr dead, then tobi and tidux ps him haha.

Then kAU! GOT WONDERGIRLS LEH. AND BIGBANG. OMG. STYLISH(FILA)! I literally went gaga on the spot. Too bad the moves didn't tele to the real ones. Whee sung! Brown Eyed Girls! All so familiar! heheheh.

Met up with sis at orchard for cny shooopppping. Went round Far East Plaza, got nothing except lunch. 锅贴 overload manz. Headed over to Bugis. It's a Saturday, so it's squeezy as hell. Retaking Chinese was a wise decision, to spend $24 and jump one grade. Finally got what I wanted. 8D Disappointment for Science, Humans, D&T and POA. ): Oh well, I did my best.

The GCE 'O' Level Examination 2008 results was definitely a shocker, not only for mine, but for others as well. Congratulations Agnes! Top student of Hillgrove, for a L1R5 of 8 points. :D I was already nervous like shit and having super goosebumps. Add more to that for envy. To think 8points is like jaw-dropping, a top student from another school got 6points! Bloody hell! hahaha.

Due to the nearing of Christmas, had the last day of work on Tuesday for us part-timers. Will definitely miss working with them. Even during the busiest and rush time for goods, we still managed to squeeze in some fun. I've also gained much experience on the 'behind-the-scenes' of a bakery. Within less than 1mth in the company, I've also managed to help in the process of making food like fruit cake, stollen and log cake. Cinammon star was fun to cut but it tasted as if it didn't got baked. Horrible, to me. lol. Since orders received were mostly from hotels, I got to realise the entire process of the gifts we see at hotels. From the mixing to the moulding/cutting, to the baking to the packing and the ribbon-tying. All in all, it was an awesome experience, one I would never forget. 8D

After work, I attended the bbq at Blk 350. Actually it was a gathering for 6/2 pupils but some of us 6/3 pupils went too. Oh well, at least we know each other yea? Chee Peng was the organiser cum chef, joined with Beng Loon, Wenxi, Bee Leng, Yue Hui, Jie Xin, Yi Han, Kai Ting, Nazri, Derek, Fazli, Kien Zhong, Philip, Wei Lun, Yan Hui, Xiu Yu, Hazwan, Yong Liang, Chen Xing and me. Mr Michael was invited too. Had a great night and thanks Jie Xin for the pictures! :D

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY SUNNY!

My third bbq this month. Went for Sunny's house for his 21st birthday party after work. Alot of different cliques of his were there, audi ppl include Shery, Trina, yami, djasakurayoh and some others idk of. Ki Tat was supposed to turn up but I didn't manage to see him. For the first time there wasn't a need to help bbq, unless cooking stuff yourself, because his family's cooking.

Cool army friends he's got, despite the slight awkwardness in the house due to the variety of ppl, of which are all his friends. He also has an acer desktop, like mine! Just that his is a flatscreen monitor and his does not lag like mine idk why either lolol. Mine's dead already, so I couldn't care less haha.

Happy 8th Months Spartans! :D

Friday's bbq was awesome. I reached htp's house first to help carry the stuff, then fishy, phatom, prince and lpxx came later. We helped to clean the tiny prawns then carried the stuff and made our way to cwp interchange. We planned to take a cab but to no avail lol. In the we took bus and 10 of us, huimin, lynette, htp, lpxx, fishy, prince, phatom, yuan, haigui and me boarded the bus to east coast area. Htp went to buy the cake and we walked quite a distance before meeting up with wankin, mantou, twinkle, nightz and one guy whose their friend. Literally dumped some of the stuff to them cux we were tired from carrying lol. The rest of the guild members came streaming to the pit not long after we settled the things.

It started drizzling when min and yuan were starting the fire, but it turned out fine throughout the night when the dark clouds went away. Lucky. Loved the bacon. Though I ended up drinking more than eating, still enjoyed myself. Dzq, bobbie, adelene went home early, so soul and i also followed along. Cabbed home with dzq.

Took today off for Spartan's budget shopping at sheng siong for bbq this Friday. The Bakery's now like my 4th home lol. Don't blog that often anymore too cux of work. Hope Friday and Saturday's bbqs will be successful and a short break from work. Have fun working for those who are, and enjoy your holidays for those who're not. :D

& I've got my hair cut (finally) at Bukit Timah Plaza's Classic Total Image. I can't thank gooodboy enough for the recommendation. It's run by an experienced korean hair dresser. I've never got a haircut which includes washing and blow-drying before, although i know that is a normal procedure for haircuts, which sometimes make it quite expensive. I've always gone to those home salons, where they just cut the hairstyle you want then you may go. no washing no blowdrying no nothing. just a comb and scissors lol. Now I feel relatively good about my current hairstyle, though it's short. But no more many many layers lol. Just a pity the shop is a bit too small and rather hidden.

I still haven't visited CyberEra yet. Wanna go see see play play one day.

I plan to buy a sports shoe with protection of the sole and all that, unleashes maximum potential by it being lightweight and comfy too. Ideally meant for running/sprinting purposes. The problem is idk what brand of shoes are better in terms of the specifications mentioned above, although I believe both stores do sell shoes meant for running too. Since I don't have experience running in an adidas nor nike sports shoe, I need help from anyone who knows which brand is better, or any other brand of sports shoe which you think is good and personal recounts of usage of the shoes are most definitely welcomed too.

Finally, something to blog about. Watched Quantum of Solace with Gavin today. Also another long time no see. Went bunk yesterday and saw some familiar faces, other days too. Was rotting at home all this week that I started to think alot of stupid things. So I had to take a breather outside. Moniter's dead, can't tamper with my files either. So it's kinda bland until I get a new computer that is. Starting work tomorrow, at least something to keep me busy. Oh and I'm not quite catching up with audi still, hurhur.

Not to forget the highlight of the joint performance by Big Bang and Lee Hyori. It was marvellous and splendid watching them perform together. Especially the peck on the lips by T.O.P and Hyori. Although it lasted less than 2 seconds, it sure was a shocker indeed.

I enjoyed Wonder Girls's performance of "Nobody" tango and disco version too. Both were refreshing to watch, including 2PM. I would have preferred 2PM for the Best Newcomer Male award, but SHINee's good too. 8)

O' levels are over and I would like to thank the people who wished me good luck for this major examination. Be it 'Good luck' or words of encouragement, I really appreciate it because it's the first AND ONLY time I'm sitting for the O's and I really did feel the jitters when the first paper was nearing. Your messages calm and motivate me in a way and eventually I was able to sit through the 2 weeks+ of exams with no regrets whatsoever. So yup, thanks again! ^^

Okay how do i start this..

After my D&T paper (yesterday), I went as planned to welcome the Wonder Girls at Changi as their flight was delayed from yesterday. Supposed to meet up with Looeng to go to Changi. When at Tanah Merah, I saw a wonderful wearing the wg tee too! We waved at each other. (with me squinting to see who it is) Then I knew is Qiann (dance queen! lol). Her other two friends including lovesunye09 who was more active than the other. We reached T3 then went to Mcdonalds to buy lunch.

At the small path leading to the inside of Macs, there stood a short-haired lady and a toddler. We were actually just stoning there for awhile, waiting for her to move. I walked into Macs through a space beside her. Then the girls come running and screaming saying it's.. Zoe Tay! hahaha after we bought our stuffs she was sitting at the bench outside with her child, we waved her goodbye. Awesome! Pretty Zoe!

We then shifted to T2, apparantly information was wrongly spread that they were arriving at T3 when the arrival panels for T2 displayed their flight number. When we arrived at around 1.30pm at T2, there were no barricades. Until around 2.15pm they started lining the barricades and we crowded there. The wonder admins were moving the wonderfuls by telling us to sing Nobody's chorus when wg were walking to the gate. And so we did. But it just became a moment when guys and girls were screaaaaaaaming their heads off when wg walked out and chased.

The following pictures were taken by my lousy 2megapix hp plus my battery was dying, so yea. But having something is better than nothing lol.

As you know, I don't have a ticket, since I'm not planning to go in the first place due to O's. But Jonathan's friend gave up his ticket or cannot make it, i'm not sure, but a million thanks to his friend! (That's the cheer booklet compiled by the fans in the background) So with a ticket, queuing first with the wonderfuls, concert about to start, why wouldn't I go?

The shocking part is I saw Bobbie zai! Germaine went too but I didn't see her.

I got to see Latte by chance when she walked past tooooo! 8)

I didn't take any pictures of 2PM or U-Kiss performances, took videos instead. 2PM sang 10 Points out of 10 and Only You. U-Kiss sang Not Young and another song not heard promoted. The girls were all ''ship jeommanjeome shipjeom!'' allll the way, including me of course.

The highlight of the concert was definitely the Wonder Girls as the stadium was filled with fans (or almost everyone) singing (okay shouting) to Nobody and Tell Me, especially loud for I want nobody nobody but you, Omona and Tell me tell me tttt tell me. I screamed my lungs out I thought I was going to die. This is the only picture taken before we started going crazy (micheoseoo lol)

There was no encore and fans hurriedly left the stadium. Everytime screams are heard guys and girls would run towards that direction. In the end all were squeezing as everyone wanted to catch a glimpse or take a photo at their favourite artists before they board the bus. 2PM and Wonder Girls boarded this bus.

Saw the bus drove past and fans were waving to 2PM inside. They were seriously very nice, they all waved back, Khun, Taekyeon and Jaebum waved as if he's wiping the window. That's one warm response to us fans! 10점 만점에 10점! 8D

The xiong week is over, of which I'm referring to important papers on 4 consecutive days. Tentatively it's 3 more days, officially it's 4 more days to the end of the big Os, with 1 week break before the last paper.

Thanks to Tobi's sms and Latte's info, I got to know that AuditionSEA has a Season2, with more clothings, improved stuff and more songs, as usual. But what's best is that the korean songs are BACK! All the more reasons to play back audition after the O's! haaaa.

The WonderGirls, 2PM, U-Kiss and the rest of the Kpop artists coming for the Kpop concert are arriving on 3rd Nov, around 9pm. I thought of going to welcome them with the rest of the SGWonderfuls, but I think by the time they arrive and when it's over, I'll probably only reach home around 12am, or worse 1am, since Changi's so far from home. To add to that, my D&T paper starts at 8am the following day. So I think I'm not going after all, neither the welcome nor the concert. Oh well, at least I'm gonna get my official SGWonderfuls tee this coming weekend! :B

I went to meet up with some of the wonderfuls yesterday, then to study, thus decided not to go for the outing, since it was in the midst of my o lvl timetable. Nevertheless, they had fun at Pulau Ubin and Huimin, as the photographer took many awesome shots. Looking forward to Spartans' 8 months bbq in Dec, and hope all sg wonderfuls enjoy themselves on 4th Nov at the Kpop concert! :D

I'm not sure whether he makes use of 'rain' because of his 'name' in his past albums, but for this 5th album after a long hiatus, he definitely made an impression that Rain is him, he is Rain. hahah. Love the awesome dance moves. It's like watching a movie trailer in the beginning. Towards the end of the mv reminds me of Step Up 2. Rain did that better live though. Rainism!

K-POP CONCERT IN SINGAPORE!

Singapore Tourism Board will be organizing a Korea Festival 2008 from 1st to 18th November, including a K Pop concert on 4th November, seeing Korean performing artistes like WonderGirls, ShinHwa members, Jewelry and 2PM.

A variety of traditional and contemporary events, from fine arts to popular culture and mainstream music will also be organised. But the highlight has got to be the K-Pop Concert which will be held on Tuesday evening, 4th November 2008 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

I was at a loss for words when I first saw this on coolsmurf's blog on wondergirls. To think that most artists would skip Singapore(due to the minority of kpop fans, majority of englishsongs fans: evident in Singfest), there's finally a pit stop for Kmusic artists: Singapore!
It's definitely some news worth celebrating for us kpoppers, but as you can see, it's on the 4th, which unfortunately clashes with my O'lvl timetable, having MT on the next day. So, sadly I'm not going. With enlightenment from my sister, I can just fly to korea next time.
