'O' lvls MT.
Scary, yes. Afterall I'm taking a national exam for the first time, seeing strangers walking up and down the row.
After that was the night walk @ Kampong Glam.
Our first stop was at Haji V. Syed Abu Thahir Trading, which displays rugs, framed islamic writings and perfumes!
I was amazed when the Ms(or Mrs?) Margaret told us that they actually have perfumes which smell just like brands for eg. Chanel, Gucci, Boss, Johnsons baby lotion(!!) and many more, without alcohol, at a fraction of what you pay at departmental stores!
That bargain made most of the girls (and boys) flocking to buy vails of perfume, including me. hehehe.
MIM supplies & services, then the Masjid Sultan. The Grandfather's Collection was a stunner, coca cola glass bottles and can collections were displayed everywhere, ranging to olden toys and appliances! The sight of all the items of the past could almost make up a story of its own. An eye-opener indeed. I didn't know Kampong Glam has such awesome shops till now.
When Ms Margaret told us about twilight and stuff, the TV show Twilight straight away appeared in my mind lol. It soon got dark and we headed to the Istana Kampong Glam through the back alley of Kampong Glam, where she then continued to told us more amazing stories.
Great experience, it's like those historical field trips we go on during Sec1/2.
Now old, seniors alr nvr bring us go -.-
Pictures!
